Everything I have and am, I owe to Jesus.

That’s something Christians are supposed to say. For me, it’s something I believe. My life has completely turned around because of my relationship with Jesus. One result of this is that I work hard to treat everything I have as if he owns it and is letting me use it. And I get to use it for his work, not mine.

That includes this website. Everything here belongs to Jesus, not me.

What does that mean? I means that I don’t claim ownership of everything. Legally, treat it all as open domain. Use it. Copy it. Change it. I don’t care. It’s not mine.

I ask two things:

  • First, if you have a relationship with Jesus, use it according to your understanding of him.
    • What do you think he’d want you to do with it? Even if you and I disagree about Jesus and what he wants, go with your beliefs, not mine.
    • This also means that if you don’t believe in Jesus, then you don’t have to worry about this. Just use the stuff however you want. It’s not mine and you don’t believe in the guy I think it belongs to, so do whatever. I’m good!
  • Second, I would appreciate credit.
    • This isn’t a requirement but a request. If I see this stuff out there and it doesn’t have anything about me, that’s cool. I’ll just be glad it’s out there!
    • But it it’s not too much trouble, a link to this website or a “modified from Chuck Fussman’s/chuckmonk’s work” or whatever would be great.

So, go to it! Use it! Spread his love! Help people learn more about God and how much he loves them.

Peace to you all!
